Faced with ever-increasing demand and the overload of our booking server on opening we have decided to review our booking procedure once again. Indeed, our supplier is unable to provide us with a functional electronic solution… (there is only one other campsite in France faced with the same problem as us…)
From now on, it will therefore be possible for you to make a pre-booking via a form you can download on the booking page of our website www.camping-cap.com . This form should be filled in preferably via Acrobat PDF or by HAND but legibly in capital letters.
Reminder of the booking requirements:
– You must be sure of your stay dates (essential requirement, no date changes will be possible),
– Pre-booking possible using this form ONLY,
– You must return the form to reception by email: contact@camping-cap.com (you will receive acknowledgement) or by hand or by post (Camping du Cap de l’Homy, 600 avenue de l’Océan, 40170 LIT ET MIXE, France.
– We must receive this completed form before 15th October, 11:59 pm at the latest. After this date, it will no longer be possible to make a pre-booking and you will have to make your reservation online when we open bookings in January (date communicated on our website www.camping-cap.com
As usual: booking requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and pitches will be allocated according to the number of people in your group and our booking schedule. If your camping equipment is oversized in comparison to the size of the pitch or unsuitable, we will not be able to change your pitch.
Do not hesitate to inform us of any flexibility in your dates, this will allow us to allocate you a pitch if your desired dates are unavailable.
Please note that the pre-booking form does not guarantee you a pitch. The preferred pitches that you have indicated on the form are also not guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with the proposed pitch, we will not be able to change it. In this case, you should NOT pay the deposit and inform us by email. You will then be able to try and book online again when reservations open.
Pre-booking now will exempt you from making your request online.
Be aware that we will not know our 2024 rates at the time of pre-booking. Annual rates are voted by the Town Council in November. They will be communicated at the end of November – beginning of December on our website. Do not hesitate to consult them.
The process will then be similar to an online reservation: you will receive a quote by email at the beginning of the year (January 2024) with a request for a deposit to be paid. If the payment term of your deposit is exceeded, your pre-booking will be permanently deleted and you will have to renew your booking request when we open bookings in January.
If we have NO availability, you will also be informed.
It will be pointless writing to us or calling us in order to change your dates or booking details, in any case you will have to make a new booking request online when we open. We will not be able to respond to this type of email or phone request.
This new pre-booking system is an improvement on that of 2021, as it gives everyone an equal chance since the form will be available to everyone at the same time: as an attachment to this email and online on our website (from today)
Rest assured that we have been making every effort for several years now (!) to find the best possible solution in the face of ever-increasing demand and regard to the particularity of our campsite.
