Cap de l’Homy

Useful information

If you are among those lucky enough to stay in our ‘jewel of nature’, you will accept the lack of public transport in this part of the world (you did want to get away from it all, didn’t you?). In plain English, you would be better off coming by car, but as we are not completely inaccessible, here are a few tips on how to reach our little corner of heaven.

We are situated 103 km north of Biarritz and 142 km south of Bordeaux.

By car: Motorway A63 (Bordeaux-Hendaye). Exit 13, follow the D66 to ‘Lit-et-Mixe’. Just South of Lit et Mixe, take the D88 towards Cap de l’Homy.
You can also look on Car-sharing Apps (Blablacar, etc)
Only run during the high season.

By bus : there is no all-year-round service
Summer Bus route N°44 runs between Dax and Lit-et-Mixe, followed by the shuttle-bus N° 12 ‘Vilplage’ between the town centre and Cap de l’Homy , or Summer bus route N°45 runs between Morcenx-St-Julien-en-Born-Contis, followed by the shuttle-bus N°12 ‘Vilplage’ between St Julien or Contis and Cap de l’Homy.
